ROBERT A. BERTSCHE is a partner of the Boston firm of Prince Lobel Glovsky & Tye LLP, where he specializes in media and employment counseling and litigation. A member of Prince Lobel's labor and employment law practice group and leader of its media and intellectual property group, Mr. Bertsche has litigated extensively at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and in state and federal court on behalf of employers facing claims of discrimination, defamation, breach of contract, wrongful discharge, and other claims. He also counsels and trains employers on issues including terminations, sexual harassment, and wage-and-hour laws. For almost two decades, Mr. Bertsche has been the author of an annual, nationally circulated summary of Massachusetts employment defamation law, published by the Media Law Resource Center. He is a magna cum laude graduate of both Wesleyan University and Harvard Law School. He was a partner at the firm of Hill & Barlow until it closed in 2003.
