HON. EDWARD M. GINSBURG (RET.) was an associate justice of the Middlesex County Probate and Family Court from November 1977 until his retirement in October 2002. He is an adjunct professor of law at Boston College and Suffolk University law schools. Judge Ginsburg is an editor of the Massachusetts Family Law Journal and Lawyers Weekly, and is the author of the Massachusetts Family Law Guidebook (2d ed. 1992). He has written numerous articles for law journals and taught extensively for MCLE. He is a trustee of the Flaschner Foundation and World Education. Upon his retirement, Judge Ginsburg founded Senior Partners for Justice, an organization that provides legal services for the indigent in the Probate and Family Court Department. He is a mentor in the family law unit of the Legal Assistance Corp of Central Massachusetts. (September 2008)
