ERIC P. HAYES is the senior regional manager for Wells Fargo’s Boston wealth management business. In this capacity he is responsible for the delivery of investment, fiduciary, and banking services to Wells Fargo’s clients and for the management of the professionals who provide those services. He is the former chief fiduciary officer for U.S. Trust, Bank of America’s private wealth management business. Mr. Hayes has been a speaker at numerous seminars for MCLE, the American Law Institute, and the University of Miami Estate Planning Institute. He coauthored Loring: A Trustee’s Handbook (7th ed. 1994) and is the editor and an author of Understanding and Using Trusts (MCLE, Inc. 2nd ed. 2009). Mr. Hayes is a trustee for MCLE, an overseer of the Peabody Essex Museum, a trustee of the House of the Seven Gables, and chairs the board of the Bostonian Society. Mr. Hayes received his B.A. from Boston College, his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, and his LL.M. in taxation from Boston University School of Law. (July 2009)
