MARTIN R. HEALY is a partner and chair of the real estate development and permitting practice at Goodwin Procter LLP, in Boston, where he focuses on acquisition, due diligence, and permitting advice for complex development projects. From 1986 to 1990, he served as a legal advisor to the permitting team for the Central Artery/Third Harbor Tunnel (CA/T) project. He also assisted CA/T with Chapter 91 licensing for the Charles River Crossing. Mr. Heal is a graduate of Boston College (B.A., summa cum laude, 1972) and Boston College Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1975). He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and before the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is included in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Healy is a frequent lecturer and author for MCLE and has taught at Boston College Law School. He serves on the board of editors of the Boston Bar Journal and is a former chairman of the MCLE Real Estate Curriculum Advisory Committee, Massachusetts Bar Association environmental law committee, and Massachusetts chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks public affairs committee.
