MARSHA V. KAZAROSIAN is managing partner in the Haverhill firm of Kazarosian Law Offices, a general practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire concentrating on civil rights litigation, PI, discrimination and domestic relations. She is currently Vice President of the Massachusetts Bar Association, and past President of both the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the Essex County Bar Association. She is also a trustee of MCLE, and the Massachusetts Bar Foundation. One of Lawyers Weekly’s Top Women in the Law for 2011, she has also been selected by Law & Politics Magazine as a Super Lawyer each year from 2006 to 2011, as well as being identified by the same publication as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in New England and in Massachusetts. In 1999 she tried the first gender discrimination action against a “private” club in the U.S. securing one of the ten highest jury verdicts in the Commonwealth for that year. In the 1990’s she represented one of the juvenile defendants in the Pamela Smart murder case, and has been both a Bar Advocate and CJA counsel in the U.S. District Court for NH defending such as clients as a member of the Hell's Angels and defendants accused of white collar crime. In 1999 she was selected by Lawyers Weekly as one of the Top Ten Lawyers in Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Phillips Andover Academy, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Suffolk University Law School, and is a frequent lecturer of trial advocacy to practicing attorneys.
