JOHN S. LEGASEY is a practicing attorney and partner in the Salem firm of Legasey & Niarchos, PC. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Massachusetts (1968) and served in the Peace Corps in Libya prior to entering law school. He received his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 1975. Mr. Legasey is a former president of the Salem Bar Association and has served on the executive committee of the Essex Bar Association. He has served as a member of the board of managers of the Massachusetts chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and as a member of the family law council of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Mr. Legasey concentrates on domestic relations litigation, and he lectures for MCLE on a range of topics in the domestic relations area. (December 2009)
