HARRY L. MILES has been a partner in the law firm of Green, Miles, Lipton & Fitz-Gibbon LLP in Northampton since 1994. Previously, he was a partner in the firm of Growhoski, Callahan, Miles & Kuzmeski (1980–1993) and an assistant district attorney in Franklin and Hampshire counties (1975–1980). Mr. Miles taught at Western New England College School of Law for fifteen years. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Mr. Miles has been a presenter on scientific evidence and the use of expert testimony for the National Association of Forensic Engineers, National Forensic Center, Massachusetts Superior Court judges, Northeastern University, and other organizations. He has chaired and presented seminars on DNA evidence for MCLE and is a contributor to the Massachusetts District Court Civil Practice Manual (MCLE, Inc. 2005) and Damages, Interest, and Attorney Fees in Massachusetts Litigation (MCLE, Inc. 3d ed. 2009).
