RICHARD S. MILSTEIN is MCLE's founder and served as its Executive Director for many years.  Prior to his retirement from the practice of law he was a partner in the Springfield law firms of Ely and King and Robinson Donovan, where he counseled private and institutional clients in the areas of estate planning and business law.  Over the course of his career, Dick has served on many nonprofit boards including WGBY, public television in Western Mass, Baystate Hospital, Boston Center for Adult Education, the Huntington Theater, and the Boston Lyric Opera.  He is the recipient of the Harrison Tweed award given by the American Bar Association and the American Law institute for his contributions to continuing legal education, and of the Pynchon Award for his activities on behalf of cultural organizations in Western Massachusetts. Dick received his B.A. from Harvard College and his J.D. from Boston University Law School.
