KATHLEEN M. MITCHELL is underwriting counsel in the Boston office of the Chicago and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Companies. She has some twenty years of experience with title insurance companies. Ms. Mitchell is a member of the MCLE Real Estate and Environmental Law Curriculum Advisory Committee and the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts title standard committee. She is a frequent presenter and author on real estate topics. She was appointed to the Massachusetts Land Court committee on guidelines for registered land by Chief Justice Karyn F. Scheier. Ms. Mitchell is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School.  (March 2011)
