PETER M. MOLDAVE is a partner at Gesmer Updegrove LLP, in Boston, where he focuses on computer software licensing transactions and corporate and securities law. He advises Internet and enterprise software companies, investors in software companies, and individual executives, authors, and consultants on issues including business formation, angel and venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions, equity-based compensation, and software development, distribution, publishing, and licensing arrangements. Previously, he was with Apple Computer, Inc., where he was responsible for federal securities law compliance and legal aspects of corporate finance transactions and technology joint ventures; and at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he concentrated in corporate and securities transactions. Mr. Moldave is an adjunct faculty member at Suffolk University Law School, teaching a course on licensing intellectual property. He is a graduate of the University of California (J.D., 1983) and Harvard University (B.A., 1980). He is admitted to practice in California and Massachusetts. (April 2010)
