PAUL J. RICOTTA is a member of the Boston and New York offices of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, PC, where he concentrates in the areas of commercial bankruptcy and restructuring, as well as negotiating and documenting commercial credit transactions. His bankruptcy and work experience includes representing debtors, creditors’ committees, secured creditors, lenders, bondholders, indenture trustees, lessors and lessees, examiners, acquirers, and equity security holders in voluntary and involuntary Chapter 7 and 11 cases. Mr. Ricotta is an expert in the Uniform Commercial Code and assisted in the drafting and enactment of Revised Article 9 of the UCC in Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and holds a combined J.D./M.B.A. degree from the State University of New York. He has written a number of articles and lectured to bar association groups and financial institutions on various topics related to bankruptcies, restructuring, and commercial lending. Mr. Ricotta is admitted to practice before the state, federal, and bankruptcy bars of New York and Massachusetts, and is a member of the American, New York State, Massachusetts, Erie County, and Boston Bar Associations.
