ROBERT M. SHEA is a partner in the Labor & Employment Law Group at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP in Boston.  For over twenty-five years, Mr. Shea has counseled businesses and individuals in all areas of labor and employment law. He regularly represents clients in employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, whistleblower, and wage-hour litigation before federal and state courts and agencies. Mr. Shea graduated magna cum laude from Boston College in 1981, and received his J.D., with honors, from George Washington University National Law Center in 1984. Mr. Shea lectures frequently on employment law issues and has written many articles for national and local publications. He is a former cochair of the Boston Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section. He is currently a vice chair and director of the Smaller Business Association of New England. Mr. Shea is also a mediator and arbitrator, and he serves on the American Arbitration Association's panels of employment arbitrators and mediators. (November 2010)
