JOSEPH P.J. VRABEL is vice president of and general counsel to Capital Risk Management, Inc., in Framingham. His expertise is in corporate governance, commercial finance, and commercial real estate. He has extensive experience in commercial bank loans, bond financings, health-care financings, private placements, workout situations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and all types of business transactions. Law firms and governmental agencies frequently retain Mr. Vrabel as an expert witness on the ethical standards and legal duties of attorneys in corporate law, real estate, and commercial finance issues and transactions. He is a mediator and arbitrator of business, real estate, and commercial disputes and serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and a mediator for the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts. Previously, Mr. Vrabel was a partner of Bowditch & Dewey LLP. He is a publications author and speaker before legal and nonlegal groups.
