Day one

  • An Overview of the Court System - The ins and outs of the court system from a Superior Court judge and an experienced litigator; the inner workings of the courts throughout various pretrial stages; behind the scenes insights from key players in trial preparation.
  • Emergency Measures in Pretrial Litigation: Injunctions, TROs and Other Ex Parte Relief - The differences between mandatory and prohibitory injunctions; consolidating a hearing on a preliminary injunction with a hearing on the merits of the case; standards for appellate review of emergency orders.
