This program provides a concise overview of key changes and emerging trends in Massachusetts special education law. The panelists highlight important current issues and developments, such as transition planning and programs, damages, and the implementation of the anti-bullying legislation. The program also provides an efficient overview of significant federal court and Bureau of Special Education Appeals (BSEA) decisions from the past year.
This program assumes a basic understanding of special education law and provides experienced practitioners with a summary of the significant developments, emerging trends, and common issues encountered in special education practice. Special attention is given to practice before the BSEA.
