Product Description
The inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States on January 20, 2016 brings with it a potentially dramatic reorientation of the health care policy, finance, regulatory, and transactional landscape. Health care payors, providers, drug/device manufacturers, and, of course, patients and their families, are facing uncertainty about what Trump’s campaign promises may mean for the U.S. health care system. Boards and C-suites are searching for guidance as they plan for the future. This half-day Conference is an opportunity for health care lawyers to have evaluated the first 100 days of the Trump Administration, including selections for various cabinet and other administrative positions, new legislation and bills presented and, potentially, new administrative actions implemented that could impact all Americans with respect to governmental payors, the fate of Obamacare, and a raft of other critical issues.
This cutting-edge Conference is designed to address these issues from a sophisticated legal perspective. What do health care lawyers need to know in order to skillfully and strategically advise clients as they confront these challenges on the horizon?
With many important perspectives to be heard, the Conference seeks to bring together diverse viewpoints and experiences to give attendees both breadth and depth on these important subjects. Lawyers that help their clients respond to a market in flux, exposing both risks and opportunities, are providing a critical service. This Conference distills and addresses key issues and provides essential insight on the skills of lawyering in this ever-evolving practice area.
