Product Description
A contentious financial issue in a pending divorce is not just how much income is available for support, but what is the need of the recipient. This program dives into the needs-based analysis and explains key points decided in the 2017 Supreme Judicial Court decision Young v. Young. The panel of experts provides a road map to guide you through this type of analysis and required discovery.
On the other side of the needs-based analysis is the concept of a payor “hiding income.” As soon the words hiding income are uttered, the red flag is immediately raised, and your case grows far more complicated. Participants gain an understanding of the concept of a forensic investigation for your clients and the proper method of conducting a forensic investigation. The panel is also dedicated to providing an understanding of the interplay between forensic accounting and a business valuation.
Get your questions answered—How is a needs-based analysis constructed based on current case law? When is a forensic analysis necessary? How is a forensic analysis incorporated into the case? When is a forensic analysis incorporated into a business valuation?
