      Highlights from the many developments reflected in this edition include

      • numerous amendments to court rules and orders, including
        • revised case categories and forms for the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts;
        • revisions to the Local Rules of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and an updated fee schedule for District Court filings;
        • revisions to the Massachusetts Rules of Civil Procedure, including changes to Rule 55 on default judgments;
        • an order of the Supreme Judicial Court raising the filing threshold for District Court and Superior Court civil actions from $25,000 to $50,000; and
        • a Superior Court standing order on videoconferencing of court events;
      • various amendments to the Massachusetts General Laws, including increased restrictions on vehicular cell phone use and regulation of tobacco and vaping products;
      • amended Massachusetts regulations on medical records and informed consent and amended federal provisions on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA) standards; and
