    Product Description

COVID-19 has put tremendous stress on many people in Massachusetts, including veterans and their families. The economic impact of the pandemic has meant some households are eligible for certain housing, financial, and nutritional benefits that may never have accessed these forms of assistance before. While some of these resources are unique to the pandemic, others are specifically for military veterans. However, navigating these programs and how they work together can present a range of challenges.

This program provides an overview of these benefits, along with the traditional benefits that have been modified due to the Pandemic. We walk you through which programs to use first to best take advantage of all the options available to your veteran clients to maximize the resources available to them immediately and into the future.

Join our experts as we look at the options for veterans, and how best to utilize them.

This program, the inaugural Gitta M. Kurlat Lecture on Veterans in Transition, is subsidized, in part, by MCLE’s Gitta M. Kurlat Scholarship Fund. Admitted to the bar in 1965, Gitta Kurlat became a successful corporate lawyer at Guterman, Horvitz, Rubin and Rudman and then Kurlat Associates. A trailblazer for women in both law and business, her involvement in MCLE programs dates back to its founding in 1969. MCLE has named this initiative in honor of her interest in assisting lawyers in representing veterans and their families.
