    Product Description

Providing a compelling opening statement and closing argument are vital courtroom skills. Lawyers must take advantage of the opening to address the jury or judge with a concise roadmap of what your client’s evidence will show. Closing arguments are the one chance lawyers get to argue directly to the factfinder, summarizing what the evidence showed and why your client should win.

In this highly interactive program, expert civil and criminal litigators teach everything you need to know about openings and closings. The first day consists of morning lectures outlining the elements and considerations for a winning opening statement and closing argument, followed by faculty demonstrations of an opening statement and closing argument. You then prepare for the next day when you get the unique opportunity to test your knowledge in a mock courtroom setting, where you try out the skills you learned and get essential feedback on your performance.

    Registration Notes:

Space is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis. Cancellations may only be refunded, minus a $100 processing fee if we are able to fill your seat.
