    Product Description

In today’s digital ecosystem, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) has become an integral component of business operations across industries. These cloud-based solutions present unique challenges, as they involve entrusting third-party vendors with mission-critical software and sensitive data processing. The distinct nature of these arrangements—where vendors control infrastructure, updates, and data storage— creates complex considerations around security, compliance, service levels, and intellectual property that differ significantly from conventional software licensing models.

This program addresses these challenges by exploring the technical and business context of SaaS offerings, negotiation of key provisions, and balance of provider and customer concerns. We cover auto-renewal and cancellation compliance for subscription services, LegalTech for contract management and contract review, AI drafting tools, and emerging topics. The session concludes with an interactive “Ask the Experts” Q&A, providing practical guidance for drafting and negotiating effective SaaS contracts that protect all parties while meeting business objectives.
