    Product Description

Noncompete law and regulations have continued to evolve in 2025. Nine states passed ten new laws, including a never-before-seen law permitting four-year noncompetes in Florida. In addition, on June 13, 2025, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court issued its first decision interpreting the Massachusetts Noncompetition Agreement Act. And, in September 2025, the FTC abandoned the Biden-era noncompete ban and began targeting companies it views as abusing noncompetes, with a particular focus on U.S. healthcare companies and large staffing firms.

This new program provides an analysis of the latest developments in noncompete law that will affect employees and employers in Massachusetts and beyond, and what to do in response.
