    Product Description

    The Massachusetts Judiciary has implemented an eFiling pilot program (eFileMA) with Tyler Technologies, a leading nationwide provider of eFiling solutions for courts. The pilot program allows attorneys to file and serve papers electronically in the following pilot courts:

    SJC's Office of the Clerk for the Commonwealth SJC's Office of the Clerk for Suffolk County Office of the Clerk the Appeals Court Essex Probate and Family Court Worcester District Court Brighton Division of the Boston Municipal Court

    Each pilot is limited in scope, initially involving a single case type, and selected attorneys. After the pilots have been completed, there will be a full review of the Tyler e-filing system before full statewide implementation.

    While the primary focus of this seminar is on applications for further appellate review (FAR) and direct appellate review (DAR) filed in the Supreme Judicial Court, the presentation covers eFiling basics which apply to all pilot courts.
