Product Description
Sexual assault cases are extremely challenging, emotionally charged, and potentially devastating to all involved. In order to prepare and try a case properly, prosecutors must be able to get their evidence before the jury and be aware of and able to anticipate defense strategies. Defense counsel must know what pretrial motions need to be filed and how to argue them, what evidentiary issues may arise, and how to cross-examine the government’s expert.
This program covers the use of psychological experts in rape cases, how to get privileged records to the court and before the jury, changes in the language around DNA, and campus allegations and investigations. By the end of this full-day program, you are prepared to handle your next sexual assault case, whether it is in Juvenile Court, District Court, or Superior Court!
