Product Description
There has been a great deal of attention paid in the media over the last several years about what a "progressive prosecutor" is and what that means in the criminal justice system and to the community. A significant part of that conversation focuses on conviction integrity units: what they are, what they do, and, once established, whether they are legitimate. This law seminar—for both prosecution and defense attorneys—seeks to provide some answers to those questions so that there is a better understanding of conviction integrity units. The distinguished faculty of this seminar represent several of the leading conviction integrity units in the country: Cynthia Garza of the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, Valerie Newman of the Wayne County (Detroit) District Attorney's Office, and Patricia Cummings of the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. David Lewis of the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office chairs the discussion.
Join this distinguished faculty as they discuss these cutting edge issues!
